These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Baboy PH ("Baboy PH", "the website", "we", "us", or "our"), a pig farming information website operating in the Philippines. By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000) and all other applicable Philippine laws.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the website.

1. Website Description

Baboy PH is a content and information website. We publish pig farming guides, breed information pages with pricing history, farming calculators, and educational content for Filipino pig farmers. We also offer free downloadable resources and a contact form.

Baboy PH is NOT:

• A livestock marketplace, broker, dealer, agent, or auctioneer
• A platform for buying or selling animals
• A payment processor or escrow service
• A veterinary service — we do not provide veterinary advice, diagnoses, or health certifications
• A transport or logistics provider

Our content is for informational and educational purposes only. Any decisions you make based on information published on this website are your own responsibility.

2. Eligibility

Our website is open to all visitors. There is nothing to sign up for and no resource that asks for your details, so no age gate applies to browsing or to any calculator on the site.

3. Acceptable Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Abusive automated access: Hammer the website with automated requests or otherwise degrade it for other readers. Crawling, downloading and scripting against the files are fine and actively welcome — the data archive at /data exists to be used that way. See section 6 for how to credit it.
• Security circumvention: Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent website security measures, rate limits, or other protective controls.
• Illegal purposes: Use the website for any purpose that violates Philippine law or any applicable local, national, or international regulation.
• Defamatory or obscene content: Submit defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content through any form on the website.

The information published on Baboy PH, including blog posts, breed guides, pricing data, and calculator results, is provided for general informational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep our content accurate and up to date:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.
• Pricing data and market information reflect historical trends and may not represent current market conditions in your area.
• Calculator results are estimates based on the inputs you provide and general industry assumptions. Actual results will vary.

5. Intellectual Property

This website is two things under one domain, and they carry different terms. This section covers the first; section 6 covers the second.

The website's design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and written work — the articles, the breed guides, and the assumptions behind the calculators — belong to Baboy PH and are protected under Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines).

You are welcome to use it. Quote us, screenshot a chart, cite a figure, build on what we have published, argue with us. All we ask is a credit and a link back to the page it came from. No permission needed and no form to fill in.

The one thing we do ask you not to do is republish our work wholesale — copying whole articles or guides, or running them through a rewriter to pass them off as your own. That is not a citation, it helps nobody, and it is the only use we will ask you to take down.

6. Using the data archive

Everything under /data — every series, every CSV, JSON and Parquet file, and the machine-readable descriptions of them — is published under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

That means it is free to use, including commercially, including automatically — download it, script against it, republish it, build a product on it. Attribution is the only condition. Every row of every file already carries its own citation line, so the simplest way to comply is to leave it there. If you are citing the archive as a whole, the line to use is on the formats page.

The figures themselves are official statistics from PSA, BAI and other agencies, which are public. What this archive adds is the retrieval, the provenance on every row, and the refusals — and that is what the attribution is for.

• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the website shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines.

We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times or without interruption. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the website.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the website.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any disclaimers published on the website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Baboy PH regarding your use of the website. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
