An all-farms average has to lie between its two populations, and for Q1 2024 PSA's household (backyard) quarterly mean is 179.25 and its establishment (commercial) mean is 188.02 (hog-farmgate-household-quarterly and hog-farmgate-establishment-quarterly, derived from PSA OpenSTAT monthlies). The stored 168 sits outside 179.25-188.02. The row cited a bare PSA landing page rather than the release carrying the figure, and its own note said it had never been re-verified. No replacement is appended: PSA's all-farms monthly series in this archive starts in January 2025, so there is no official Q1 2024 all-farms figure to put in its place, and none is estimated.
